A Church wedding in April

The 2025 wedding season began with a beautiful church wedding at St Margaret’s Church, followed by a relaxed and informal celebration at The Halfway House. It was a wonderfully laid-back start to the year and a pleasure to be part of H & P’s special day.

The weather couldn’t have been better for an April afternoon, with sunshine providing the perfect backdrop as H & P tied the knot. As the sun began to set and the temperature dropped, the bride was well prepared with her faux fur shrug — a stylish and practical touch. Their wedding was small and intimate, with H’s son proudly walking her down the aisle and her daughter standing by her side as bridesmaid. Surrounded by only their closest family and friends, the ceremony felt heartfelt, personal, and full of warmth.

After the ceremony, it was just a short drive to The Halfway House in Brenchley, where the celebrations continued in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. Guests were treated to delicious bbq, followed by live music from a local band, creating the perfect setting for an informal evening of good food, great company, and music.

It was a genuine pleasure to photograph H & P’s wedding day and to be part of such a meaningful and joyful start to the 2025 wedding season.
