I was especially excited to photograph this Woolston Manor Golf Club wedding, as it’s not often I get to work so close to home. The venue is literally just ten minutes from my house, making it extra special — and it was also my very first time shooting a wedding there, which always adds a buzz of anticipation to the day.

Woolston Manor Golf Club is set within a stunning 200-acre golf course, complete with a picturesque lake that provides a beautiful backdrop for wedding photography as well as a bridge with freshwater fish swimming under it in the summer months.. The clubhouse offers a bar area, an outdoor pool, and two event rooms to hire, giving couples plenty of flexible options for their day. One of the standout features is the ability to hire golf buggies, allowing the bride and groom to head out onto the greens for relaxed, scenic portraits — a perfect way to make the most of the grounds and add something unique to their wedding photos.
