Camden Town Hall Wedding

I’ll never tire of a Camden Town Hall wedding — there’s something wonderfully simple and stylish about London town hall ceremonies, with the streets of the city providing the perfect backdrop for relaxed, urban portraits. This particular town hall wedding had an extra personal touch, as the couple first met playing volleyball, a story they thoughtfully wove into their day.

Camden Town Hall is a fantastic choice for a central London ceremony. Despite the name, it’s actually located in King’s Cross (within the borough of Camden), making it incredibly easy to reach. One of the reasons it works so well for a Camden Town Hall wedding is the variety of nearby streets and locations for portraits, as well as the abundance of great venues close by to continue the celebrations.

At Camden Town Hall, couples also have the option to hire a room before the ceremony. My couple used this space to get ready together, keeping the morning calm and unhurried. We also took advantage of the time to capture a few couple’s portraits before the ceremony, which meant they didn’t have to be taken away from their guests for long afterwards. A volleyball even made an appearance during the ceremony — a fun and meaningful nod to how they first met, and a detail that made this wedding truly personal.

After the ceremony, it was just a short walk to The Booking Office 1869 inside St Pancras Station. With its lovely terrace , it was the perfect spot for a relaxed post-wedding celebration. And of course, it’s hard not to take a few portraits outside the iconic St Pancras Renaissance Hotel while you’re there — a classic London backdrop to finish the day.

If you’re considering a Camden Town Hall wedding and would like to discuss your plans then get in touch as I would love to hear from you.
