PRE-WEDDING PHOTO SESSION
A pre-wedding photo session usually last between 1 to 1.5 hours depending on the location. It is a great opportuntiy for you to get comfortable in front of the camera as well as for us to get to know each other. You will also have some lovely images, which can can use on your wedding invites or on share on your wedding site.

Hopefully your questions are answered below, but please do not hesitate to get in touch if you have any outstanding questions, I would be more than happy to answer them for you.
How do we go about booking you?
Use my online form to let me know which collection you are interested in, the date, time and location of your wedding. I will check my availabiltiy and let you know. If I am available and you want to go ahead I will send you a formal booking form to complete.
How far in advance do we need to book?
I would advise that you book me or any photographer as soon as you have your venue secured, especially if it’s a weekend in peak wedding season. However, as long as I am available I will accept last minute bookings so do enquire about my availability.
when do we need to pay?
A 50% deposit is required at time of booking to secure me as your photographer. Then the balance of the payment will be due 4 weeks before the wedding date.
do you charge travel expenses?
Travel to wedding venues within 100 miles (approximately 2 hours drive) of Chigwell, Essex is included in my packages. If your wedding is further afield we can discuss if travel expenses are required.
when and where do we do a pre-wedding photo session?
Usually this would be done 2-3 months before the wedding date, we don’t want to wait too long to do this in case it interferes with your wedding planning. The location of the shoot would be one that is mutually convenient for all of us.
Do I need to have a pre-wedding photo session?
I include the pre-wedding photo session for longer day weddings simply as an opportunity for us to get to know each other and for you to be comfortable in front of the camera. There is no obligation to have the pre-wedding photo session if you do not want to but I would highly recommend it if you can spare the time.
how much of the day do you cover?
Depending on the package you have chosen. For a full day package of 10hours this would typically include wedding preparation up to 2 hours before the ceremony and then up to an hour after the first dance. For the shorter day package this would be disussed between us to ensure we capture as much as we can within the time we have together.
Do you do group shots?
Absolutely! I am happy to do group shots and believe you should, especially for close family and friends. We can discuss this in our planning meeting so we can factor enough time to capture everyone.
how soon will we receive the images?
I will provide you with a ‘highlights’ reel a couple weeks after your wedding. All edited images will then be delivered to you in an online gallery within 4-6 weeks of the wedding date.
how many images will I receive?
In my packages I provide a general number of images as a guidance of what can be achieved in the time we have together. However this is not an exact figure, I will not limit the number of images I provide you should the number taken exceed what I have quoted.
what happens if you are ill on the day?
Photographing your wedding is important to me and unless seriously ill I will honour my commitment. Should I be unable to photograph your wedding I will endeavour to find you a replacement photographer of equal calibre to replace me.
Do you have insurance?
Yes I am fully insured. I am covered for both public liabilty and professional indemnity.
